  1. Great album from this band. Unfortunately their last one. Although I generally like Love And Rockets and Bauhaus as well, this is the only album I enjoy from start to finish. I even prefer it over Sorted!, their Greatest Hits package. Too bad it was not very successfull!/5(32).
  2. Lift and Hot Trip to Heaven are ahead of their times. If _anyone_ is tailor-made for electronic music, it's Love and Rockets. Just listen to their acoustic albums for hints at this heady stuff. "This Heaven" from HTTH and "Deep Deep Down" from this album further the band's transcendental message. The instrumental part on the latter is sublime.
  3. Love And Rockets Resurrection Hex Red Ant Entertainment. Never get sick of listening to these guys. Some fantastic mixes from the brilliant and underrated album Lift. Still on the fence weather I like the or L&R better, guess I’ll have to listen to it all again. Resurrection Hex (LP Mix).
  4. Like a hand coming out of the shadows in a horror movie, Love and Rockets' new release catches you off guard; it's their most cohesive album in 10 years. Continuing the foray into electronica that the boys made with their last release (the dreadful Sweet F.A.) and mostly abandoning the echo-laden sound of previous efforts, Lift thrives on /5(31).
  5. View credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the CD release of Lift on Discogs. Label: Red Ant Entertainment - • Format: CD Album • Country: US • Genre: Electronic, Rock • Style: Breakbeat, House, Downtempo, Indie Rock/5(39).

  7. Lift was the follow-up to Sweet F.A., Love and Rockets ' poorly received return to guitar-based rock, but is more closely related to their previous album, the electronica-oriented Hot Trip to Heaven.
